The annual Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Festival, JazzFest, has become a summer favorite for Sioux Falls and the region. JazzFest is a two-day outdoor musical event, featuring two stages of music and is FREE to the public. In addition to the great music, there is also food and art vendors, beer and wine gardens, arts and crafts, fireworks and more! JazzFest usually takes place the third weekend in July and is located at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, SD. JazzFest 2018 marks the festival’s 27th celebration year! The festival had record attendance in 2012 & 2013, both years recording over 125,000 attendees over the course of the three-day event. Join us for some incredible music, sun, food, and fun!
Headliners have included some of the premier musical acts in the country: The Fray, Trombone Shorty, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Gary Clark Jr., Gov’t Mule, Boz Scaggs, Grace Potter, Joe Walsh, Sheryl Crow, Los Lobos, The Rippingtons, Bo Diddley, The Neville Brothers, and many more!
JazzFest is a fundraiser for Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues raises money through the sale of beverages at the festival. You can learn more about Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues at www.sfjb.org.
It is the mission of the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society to increase the awareness of jazz and blues music in the Sioux Falls community and region, through musical events and education.
